Hails from an antique oriental carpet dealer family 1961 Settled in Hamburg, Germany and established SH.Sameyeh a Business specializing in the import and export of Hand-knotted Oriental rugs and Carpets. Member of Hamburg’s Chamber of Commerce since 1961-1991 Established SH.SAMEYEH PTE LTD in Singapore deal with the Import and export of new and antique hand-knotted Persian, Caucasian, Anatolian and Central Asian rugs, carpets and tapestry. Previous Experience. 1974-1976 providing expert testimony on value of antique oriental carpets

Lectures on Carpets. 1984 Lectures given in LIBREVILLE, GABON and Abidjan, Ivory coast On the interpretation of design, symbols, and colors used in hand Knotted oriental rugs weaving, the quality of carpets woven from Different materials and the various methods of weaving carpets. 1994 Lecture on the texture, motif and symbols of Oriental carpets as part of The Credit Suisse Collectors lecture series held in coniunction with TRESORS 1994 in Singapore. 1995/96 lectures on the history and background of Oriental carpets given to the Siam Society and the journalist Centre in Bangkok Thailand. And Shah Alam Museum in Maleysia. 1998 speech on oriental rugs and carpets at the National Museum in Singapore 2015.
